Welcome to the online home of Stuart Mason Helmintoller: web consultant, artist, and musician. I've played traditional Celtic and bluegrass music ever since I lived in the mountains of central West Virginia. These days I perform and teach under my stage name Stuart Mason. I’m proud to be a member of the respected Celtic band Molly’s Revenge. I self-released a solo record titled "Appalachian Bride," and I blog about music at fiddlefreak.com.

I’m a web developer by day. As a consultant, employee, and part owner of Web Associates, myself and my team designed and maintained the web sites of Apple Computer, Hewlett-Packard, Lucent Technologies and many other high tech corporations from 1997-2003. Before that, I was a self-employed web designer and artist on the island of Maui, Hawaii, where I lived in a tropical paradise for 12 years. In April 2003 (wow — six years ago already?!) My web skills and experience include project management, site design and production, information architecture, and multimedia for online deployment. I’m an excellent copy writer and editor and I adhere to the highest standards for grammar and online readability.

I'm a fanatic about trout and salmon fishing. You can see my watercolor paintings and read feature stories about trout and salmon fishing in my online magazine @Streamside. On the site you can order custom, original, life-size watercolor paintings of your trophy trout and salmon.
